Event DV – Award Recipient
As a globally recognised videographers resource guide, Event DV has been awarding videographers leading the way in their field, each year since 2006.
Sauvignon Media Creations has had the honour of receiving two of these internationally recognised awards:
- Finalist Event DV 25 2009
- Event DV Rising Star 2010
Both awards are presented to those studios and videographers who are fast making an impact in the industry and considered most likely to be listed in the top 25, as voted by the international film-making community, in the very near future.
Exposed Down Under (EDU) – Founder (Rochelle Morris)
Discovering a need for wedding videography workshops to support and assist up-and-coming videographers, Rochelle became the driving force behind the foundation of Exposed Down Under.
Attracting attendees from home and abroad, the EDU workshops provide a framework for videographers to experiment and improve their skills, while sharing tips, tricks and advice with the wider international film community.
With a collaborative, rather than competitive mindset, the workshop has been both a professional and personal achievement for Rochelle.
Australian Video Producers Association (AVPA)
PR Officer / Vice President (Rochelle Morris)
The Australian Video Producers Association is a non-profit organisation working to provide better opportunities for its members and the video industry overall. AVPA members include:
- Corporate & Documentary Video Producers,
- Television Industry Personnel,
- Wedding & Special Event Video Producers, and
- Retail & Wholesale Equipment Suppliers & Service Providers.
Rochelle’s involvement with the AVPA began in 2007 when she took on the role of PR Officer. Adding another considerable feather to her cap, she was also appointed Vice President, making her the first female VP in the 20 year history of the association.
With a passionate and experienced board at the helm, the AVPA continues to lobby for the rights of videographers and producers across all sectors of the industry.
